Ultimate Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to join a Human Resources team. The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring efficient processes, and providing exceptional service to employees. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily administrative operations of the HR department.
- Maintain accurate employee records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prepare and update HR documents, such as employment contracts, job descriptions, and company policies.
- Coordinate job postings and maintain job boards.
- Assist with the screening and scheduling of interviews.
- Track and follow up on candidate status and ensure timely communication.
- Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and training coordination.
- Manage exit processes, including collecting company property and conducting exit interviews.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing assistance or redirecting as needed.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement activities, training sessions, and meetings.
- Support employee benefits enrollment and respond to benefits-related questions.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain and update HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Generate HR reports as requested, such as attendance, turnover, and compliance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with audits and compliance reviews.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (preferred).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
